Pi1541-III Emulator, Black PCB, Without Raspberry, Complete with 32GB Micro SD Card

The device is a 1541 disk drive emulator for Raspberry Pi 3A+ / 3B / 3B+, and the set is complete, assembled, but without the Raspberry!

The set includes a USB-A to 5.5/2.1 jack power cable, an IEC serial cable, and a 32GB micro SD card configured and ready to work with Raspberry Pi 3A+ / 3B / 3B+.

The color of the PCB is black.

Functionality

Pi1541, using a 32GB microSD card, allows playback of disk images on Commodore computers, such as:

• Commodore 64
• Commodore 128
• Commodore VIC-20
• Commodore 16
• Commodore Plus4

Design

The set includes:

• Power cable with a USB plug for the included 5V power supply.
• 32GB micro SD card.
• IEC serial cable for the disk drive.
• Rotary knob available in gold, black, silver, red, or blue – your choice.

• Compatibility at its best:
  Nearly 100% compatibility with the original, including support for many fast loaders (even those with copied originals and demo scene wonders). Forget about SD2IEC's heuristic guessing – here, the 6502 code runs in full cycle-exact mode, just like in 1982.
• Sci-fi-like operating modes:
  • Minimal SD2IEC startup mode (to browse PRG and D64 files).
  • Full 1541/1581 emulation after loading a disk image.
  • Reading and writing? No problem, with support for multiple channels and sequential files.
• Classy hardware:
  • Mountable on Raspberry Pi 3A+ / 3B / 3B+ (client-side microcontroller).
  • PCB with logic level converter (5V CBM → 3.3V Pi).
  • IEC connectors and chain option (cascade connection with other drives – real or emulated).
  • Version III equipped with a 1.3" OLED display and rotary encoder for navigation – scroll through folders like on a smartphone, not like navigating a maze with a joystick.
