The cartridge includes 3 diagnostic programs and an additional Gosh Wonderful ROM, which can be selected using a DIP switch. Additionally, it features a reset button and a work indicator LED.

General Purpose:

The ROM is fully backward and forward compatible with the original 16K Spectrum ROM, making it very easy to use. It supports ZX Printer (Alphacom 32, Timex 2040, Seikosha GP50S), ZX Net, Interface 1 (including network, RS232, and Microdrives — both real and emulated), as well as MGT DISCiPLE and Plus D disk interfaces.

New Editor / Tokenizer:

The most noticeable change: BASIC keywords are entered letter by letter (as in Jupiter Ace and most computers of that era), instead of with a single key as in the original. The mode is switchable — typing STOP in the command line toggles between the new and original editor.

Summary:

Gosh Wonderful is primarily a ROM for BASIC programmers — it offers renumbering, block deletion, memory and stream viewing, fixes several annoying bugs in the original, while maintaining full compatibility with games and peripheral hardware.
