MicroSD SPI/SDIO Adapter Board — (Adafruit 4682)

The adapter allows you to connect a microSD card to a microcontroller in SPI mode or the faster SDIO mode (up to 4 parallel data lines — even twice as fast as standard SPI). It is an ideal solution for applications such as saving graphics, fonts, audio, sensor logs, or playing multimedia files.

Note:

The board operates exclusively on 3.3V — this applies to both power and logic. No level shifters — connecting to a 5V system without external adjustment may damage the card. Before use, check whether your hardware platform supports SDIO if you plan to use the faster mode.
